Wedding Plans

For you guys who have been planning weddings, how did you keep from going insane? How do we keep an eternal perspective and encourage our financees to do the same?

Ecclesiastes anyone? You know how Jeremy and I are about being on a kick...well I'm on an Ecclesiastes kick. Just bear in mind, Colby, that the marriage is far more important than the wedding. Reflect on Ecc. 9:9, it is hard to enjoy the wife of your youth if you are fighting over the color of knapkins, eh?

Colbs, my pastor told me a long time ago: "don't focus too much on the wedding and forget about the marriage." trust me, it will be frustrating, but it's only for a little time. after that, you'll be married to your best friend. i need to be reminded of this a lot myself. we can pray for each other accordingly.

Yes I agree, I need to instill this mindset into my fiancee. By the way, Emy and her mom are working on altering your suit pants. :) Don't worry, I'm sure Janelle and Hannah will be happy to "alter" them after my wedding.
